As a professional and energetic Account Manager you will act as a link between clients and the agency and provide marketing support for the agency. As a suave account liaison you will be responsible for coordinating between the client and other agency staff to carry out project work. You will be expected to liaise closely with our clients throughout the duration of their projects, often on a daily basis to manage administrative and project work, ensuring that this is all completed on time and budget.

As a Strategic Planning Manager, you'll assist in the development and execution of Obai and Hill’s long-term growth strategy. You'll conduct project related work, to support senior executives at the Agency. You'll provide research and analytical support on cross-functional special project teams that identify, evaluate and analyze critical strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and catalyze action against these priorities. In addition, you'll also assist in the identification, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation and execution of business development and related opportunities for Obai and Hill.

Responsibilities

Account Management - Duties and responsibilities: 

·     Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their design/ PR/ Marketing requirements

·     Working with agency colleagues to devise a plan of action that meets the client's brief and budget;

·     Working with colleagues to assist with the formulation of marketing strategies

·     Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively

·     Negotiating with clients and agency staff about the details of projects

·     Writing client reports

·     Undertaking administration tasks as needed.

·     Arranging and attending meetings.

·     Making 'pitches', along with other agency staff, to try to win new business for the agency

·     Overseeing key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis

·     Negotiates contracts with consulting firms to perform research or other applicable studies or support

·     Plans and formulates aspects of research and development proposals such as objective or purpose of project, applications that can be utilized from findings, costs of project, and equipment and human resource requirements

·     Meet with clients to discuss goals, objectives, and needs

·     Identify public relations requirements and possible audiences

·     Kick off campaign

·     Get budgets and ideas approved

·     Brief media, creative, and research staff

·     Formulate marketing strategies

·     Maintain regular contact with both PR staff and clients

·     Negotiate fees and hourly rates

·     Get approval for promotional work

·     Handle budgets and manage campaign costs

·     Invoice clients

·     Write detailed reports

·     Create focus groups

·     Identify new clients

·     Participate in creating and presenting pitches

·     Communicate and build marketing campaigns with business owners

·     Prospect, negotiate and close agreements

·     Sell multi-media advertising

·     Create marketing plans

·     Schedule advertisements for publications

·     Ensure revenue goals are met

·     Attend agency related events when required

 

Strategic Planning - Duties and responsibilities: 

·     Structure problems, develop execution plan and manage process of evaluating each 
strategic/analytical initiative. 

·     Conduct high level creative thinking and strategic visioning. 

·     Lead efforts to retrieve, analyze and build financial/economic models to develop strategic 
insights and evaluate business problems 

·     Lead efforts to obtain qualitative insights and integrate with analytical findings to develop 
insights. Synthesize and effectively communicate findings, and cause the enterprise to act 
appropriately to capture the value in such findings 

·     Communicates and oversee cross functional or company-wide initiatives 

·     Lead cross-functional, global teams for successful project execution with ability to motivate 
and influence individuals beyond her/his direct field of control 

·     Influences executives regarding strategy to achieve business objectives

·     Developing innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations

·     Making actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements

·     Project management skills; will have demonstrated the ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution; will understand how to align resources, seek the input of key constituents, and manage others to achieve desired results

·     Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged
