The Account Manager will be responsible for developing the business through partner restaurants and maintain long-term relationships. Handle menu photos, promotions, advertisement sales, renegotiation, and transmission methods optimization as well as other special account management and ad-hoc projects as per standards set. Responsible to handle 250 restaurants as per region.


  1. Conduct business reviews with accounts and identify business opportunities and business relationships which result in the achievement of increased revenue, profitability and market share.
  2. Maintain continuous business relationships with clients/ restaurants.
  3. Provide excellent service and support in order to build a strong relationship and resolve operational issues between clients/ restaurant and company.
  4. Make sure that the menus of the clients are up to date at all times.
  5. Optimize the restaurant content (MOA, Delivery time).
  6. Commission rate renegotiation: Building new commercial relationships by renewing the existing contacts and by renegotiating the offer.
  7. Advertisement sales: Acquiring and maintaining pictures from brand menus, branding Talabat stickers at restaurants, banners, and newsletters.
  8. Generating food coupons, promotions, and vouchers from existing restaurants.
  9. Convince clients/restaurants for brand promotion of Talabat pictures.
  10. Transmission method optimization: Convincing clients/restaurants to implement track order feature and changing the transmission method to WLA.
  11. Convince the restaurant to go for digitalization (Backlinks, Splash pages, White-label, Facebook button).
  12. Encourage restaurants to subscribe for the online payment gateway.
  13. Coordinate with the restaurant, if the restaurant is live or active on the Talabat website, checking and resolve the reason, such as shutting down or stopped delivery.
  14. Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including Closed sales, Follow-up activities, Sales expense report, Increased sales report after placing promotion, voucher and coupons, Restaurant analysis sheet, and Account management report
  15. Internally, you'll be communicating with many departments including Sales-Lead Generator for lead forwarding, Head of Sales for the end of account management, Marketing for promotion activity, Coordination for menu pic and updating, and Finance for payment.
  16. Externally, you'll be communicating with the restaurants for account management.

An ideal candidate would be

  1. Academic qualifications: Required Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Marketing
  2. Preferred Master’s Degree in Business Administration / Marketing
  3. Required MS Office, Excel Certification
  4. Preferred Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
  5. Minimum 6 years of full-time professional experience in related field
  6. In-depth Knowledge of food industry market
  7. Knowledge of professional proposal, pricing model
  8. Knowledge of CRM
