Description

Nawah is looking for a Project Assistant that will support Nawah in various educational and research projects who can also take on different roles depending on the project's needs. 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistical and operational tasks for various projects
  • Attend team meetings, client meetings and calls
  • Manage client relationships
  • Supervision of social media activity
  • Contribute to overall business development
  • Translation of documents into Arabic from English or vice versa
  • Assist in the facilitation of any activities in relation to the ground projects when needed (i.e. program facilitation, focus groups, interviews, etc.)
  • Assist in writing project proposals and reports when needed
  • Conduct desk and on the ground research for projects
  • Develop content for project which includes (but is not limited to): facilitator guides, participant guides, activities, presentations, etc.

An ideal candidate would be

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Organizational Development or related field
  • 0-1 years of professional experience
  • Proficient oral and writing skills in Arabic and English
  • Some experience in applying sound research techniques, methodology and logical critical analysis (academic or professional)
