Al Hilal Group is one of the Middle East’s leading publishing and marketing organisations with a network of offices covering Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions (HCE), was founded in 1992 when the company organized the fist Rebuild Kuwait Fair after the Gulf War. Since its inception HCE has developed the company to deliver a broad range of services that enable it to be a one-stop-shop for event organization and delivery. We organize various exhibitions throughout the year which are project-based. 

Some of the events we organize include the Gulf Construction Expo, the Gulf Property Show & Interiors Expo, and are soon launching the IRM4.0 ME Expo & Summit.

We have the following divisions within our scope of work: event planning, design & build and we offer event PR and support.

A day at the office

A normal day at the office would start at 8 am and end at 6 pm. The mornings usually begin with confirming meetings scheduled for that day and we prepare the necessary information required for that meeting. Our team work collaboratively on activities ranging from ensuring that the advertisements placed in our publications as per the media schedule, to liaising for new artworks for our exhibitions. Following up on proposals that have been sent out previously, and research work on finding new companies for our exhibitions is also a major part of what we do.

The ideal candidate would need to be a team player and should have good communication skills and able to work under stress and workload, ensuring that the work is accurately done. Should be proactive and not afraid to ask questions in case of any doubt. Willingness to learn and understand, at times making suggestions that are beneficial to the company.

Office Manager

As a long term employee who has worked for 13 years, I have come a long way. I had started as a logistics coordinator and have been promoted to Office Manager. Every day is a learning experience, with it comes more responsibility. I have become more dependable and proactive in everything that has been tasked to me. I work closely with the management team to ensure productivity and sales for the department, bringing new business to other divisions of the company. There is a lot of teamwork involved on a day to day basis, liaising with the different departments. Working with this company is definitely an opportunity to work in a family-owned business, which has a family-oriented atmosphere.
